Disseminated sclerosis (Multiple Sclerosis)
Disseminated sclerosis is a very serious and incurable, as yet, disease. All medicines available today can only delay the development of the disease, ant are extremely costly. Poland is one of the countries, where the incidence of disseminated sclerosis is one of the highest in Europe. In other European countries the average incidence rate is 60 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants, while in Poland this rate reaches even 100 cases per 100 thousand citizens.
What is MS? Disseminated sclerosisis a serious disease, which damagescerebral tissue, more specifically it destroys myelin sheath of a nerve and thus interrupts communication between the brain and the rest of the body. This disease develops in a couple of stages. The patient can acquire this disease and have no symptoms for many years, when suddenly the disease strikes and causes huge damages in the neural system and often leaves the patient disabled. We may only speculate about the reasons, as the scientist failed to find the direct cause of this disease, but it seems logical that a strong, healthy, fit and well nourished organism can be much more resistant to this disease.
It is very important to note that MS is in fact a disease that affects the immune system as first. What does it mean? It means that the immune system attacks cells of its own organism, severely damaging them. What makes the immune system confused and likely to attack its own cells instead of hazardous microorganisms?
According to the contemporary medical knowledge it is unable to give one obvious reason. It is believed that the immune systems start this self-destruction because of various environmental and genetic factors. It is often that the first symptoms appear after a flu or cold. Infections can also accelerate the development of this disease. Therefore, it is essential to protect your organism from all possible infections, to make it function well.
Symptoms
Vitamin D and MS. As I had said before the incidence of disseminated sclerosis is greater in places, where there is not enough natural sunlight (vitamin D is produced only when the body is exposed to sunlight). Many new evidences prove that vitamin D can influence our susceptibility to MS and that he symptoms of this disease are stronger during wintertime. Women tend to suffer from severe vitamin D deficiency in the period between the age of 15 and 45, the same when the incidence of MS is the most significant. 4 to 40% of women of that age to not intake, nor produce enough vitamin D. This deficiency can affect the mental and physical development of the embryo and stimulate development of the neural tissue, and as we know MS is a disease, which affect this part of the body.
Nutrition and dietary supplements. are many, it often begins from minor problems with sight, which are followed by paresis, touch disorders, itching of skin and stabbing pain. Later the patient starts having problems with moving. Finally appear psychical problems.
Who is likely to acquire MS? Despite numerous researches the knowledge about the causes of this disease is very limited. Some scientists speculate that it may have genetic background. The only thing that we are sure is that women are affected more often than men and that the people living on the northern hemisphere are more likely to fall ill than those on the southern one. Perhaps it is the positive influence of climate. Many scientists try to prove the theory, which says that the main risk factor are viral infections, which develop slowly for many years to finally strike the patient. There are many viruses that might be responsible for causing MS. One of those is measles. The infection may start unnoticed and stay in its latent form for a long period of time. Some other common viruses might be responsible for causing disseminated sclerosis, for instance rabies and herpes. You should notice that those viruses were found in the organisms of sick people not only in the neural tissue, but also in blood, bone marrow and in the cerebrospinal fluid (the protective fluid present in spaces around brain and spine). Why women are more vulnerable? The most likely reason is the influence of hormones produced by sex glands (estrogen) that may disturb the functions of the immune system. Women are much more susceptible to many neural diseases. You should also take into account that there are more women than men in our population. Genetically transmitted susceptibility can also be an important factor.
Apart from pharmaceuticals prescribed by a doctor, the patient should compose an appropriate diet and consume a wide variety of dietary supplements, which can not only soften the symptoms but also slow down the development of the disease. What is very important, those supplements are not traditional medicines, but natural herbal extracts, vitamins, minerals and thus they cannot be overdosed. In preventive treatment they should be used according to the information on the box. In case of disease you may consult your physician or the CaliVita consultant, but you may also increase the doses on your own and observe the positive reaction of your organism. Curative doses can be even four times larger than preventive.
Diet can have important influence on the occurrence of this disease. It seems that people eating a high-calorie food, rich in fats, simple sugars like meat, butter, cheese and diary products are much more vulnerable to MS, while those who tend to eat low-calorie food are better protected from acquiring disseminated sclerosis.
We especially recommend diet rich in fish products, which contain large amounts of Omega 3 acids. Eskimo, who eat a lot of fish have meager susceptibility to MS. Smoked, dried even marinated fish are good. You can also try the Omega 3 dietary supplement, which capsules contain not only this acid but also a large dose of vitamin E, also very helpful in Ms prevention. Unsaturated fat acids have miraculous influence on the neural system, blood circulation and can also eliminate inflammations. For instance if used for a couple of months, they can alleviate pain common for arthritis. All those substances stimulate the immune system and as a result lower the chance of falling ill.
Hazardous substances can be found in many popular stimulants (coffee, chocolate, cola). For example coffee can remove magnesium from your organism. People suffering from this disease are often obliged to use steroids and so have serious deficiency of the important microelements. Magnesium is however very important in case of this disease, because it has very strong positive influence on the neural system. Therefore, we recommend the PowerMins supplement, which includes calcium, magnesium, potassium, zinc, manganese, iron, copper, iodine, selenium, chromium and molybdenum.
Another problem that often occurs in case of MS are constipations and low activity of bowels, resulting from the fact that the activity of the bowels is controlled by neurons, which suffer damages during this disease. Therefore, it is so important to maintain good intake of fiber, which can be found in the Nopalin dietary supplement. Apart from fiber, Nopalin is rich in vitamins and important enzymes. Bowels can be also aided by AC-Zymes, containing live bacterial cultures, vitamins and minerals that improve overall microelement absorption in the bowels.
You should also remember that the digestive system produces large doses of vitamin D, especially required by patients with MS. AC-Zymes can also prevent constipations. There is one dietary supplement that is absolutely a must for people endangered by disseminated sclerosis – Triple Potency Lecithin. As we already know MS damages myelin sheath. This supplement can aid reconstruction of this tissue. MS is a disease that affects primarily the immune system (the organism attacks its own cells), so the Polynesian Noni supplement seems to be the second key supplement in counteracting this awful disease. The extract from the noni fruit contains a large dose of xeroin, which is able to stimulate the process of reconstruction of those cells.
Finally, the reconstruction of damaged cells can be effectively aided by the Super Coenzyme Q10 supplement. This preparation contains well-balanced doses of beta-carotene, coenzyme, selenium and vitamin E. All those serve as antioxidants, so needed for patients suffering from MS. It creates a wonderful combination with Noni. If both supplements are used at the same time, their overall efficiency doubles and helps your organism regenerate damaged neurons. They are useful to combat any chronic disease that damages cells or the structure of tissues.
